Passive Overhead Sensor

This is a simple and affordable system, which is ideal for an entrance giving into an interior mall.

How it works:
The Passive Overhead sensor creates a narrow curtain which covers the entrance. It monitors for a person passing through by picking up on large temperature variations (infrared) compared to the temperature of the floor surface. When this occurs, a pulse is sent to the STC which registers it as a count.

Simple Specifications:
     Can be installed on ceilings from 8 to 12 feet high.
     One T-Rex sensor can cover an entrance width of 12 to 15 feet, depending on ceiling height.
     Multiple T-Rex sensors can be used to cover large entrances.
     Highly effective for entrances giving to an interior mall.

Quick Integration
The T-Rex sensor connects easily to an STC data collector through a straight wire connection.

Adjustable
The T-Rex sensor can be adjusted through a 2-axis mechanical adjustment, allowing the count line to be placed exactly at the entrance of the store and be only as wide as is necessary.

T-Rex sensor is installed on the ceiling ensuring it will not be tampered with.
